Construction:

• First candle
  • a candle in a downtrend
  • white body
  • appears as a long line
• Second candle
  • black body
  • the opening price is equal to the previous opening price

The Bearish Separating Lines is classified as a bearish continuation pattern. The first line is a white candle appearing as a long line in a downtrend. The second line is a candle of black body appearing as a long line. Both candles open at the same price level, and then the prices are separating.

The pattern appears very rarely on the candlestick charts.
