Construction:

The Bullish Abandoned Baby is a three-line bullish reversal candlestick pattern.

Its construction is very similar to the Morning Doji Star. The only difference is that in the case of the Bullish Abandoned Baby the doji candle gaps below the shadows of the candle lines on either side, which is not the case for the Morning Doji Star.

The doji candle can be of any type except the Four-Price Doji. In other words, it can be any of the following doji types: Doji, Long-Legged Doji, Dragonfly Doji, Gravestone Doji.

The pattern appears very rarely on the charts hence its practical application is rather low.

There is a small price gap (only 2 cents) within a Bullish Abandoned Baby on the chart. It is very difficult to notice, and the pattern could be classified as the Morning Doji Star in which the price gap cannot exist.
The power of the Bullish Abandoned Baby, in theory, lies in its third line which covers the price gap indicating that the bulls are regaining control.
On the chart above the Bullish Abandoned Baby is preceded by a Bearish Strong Line forming a strong resistance zone. Moreover, the Bearish Strong Line is also preceded by black candles.
In other words, the Bullish Abandoned Baby appears within a significant resistance area.
Indeed, the bulls needed two weeks until price moved up, forming a Rising Window pattern.
